Many years ago I was taking aircraft photos with a small camera and a fellow with a fancy camera and lots of lenses told me I could never make the planes look big enough in the photos.  He was right!  So I spent a few thousand dollars on good optics and now I can freeze them in mid-air!  Look at those flaps and slats!
